In infrastructure, Costa Rica offers a very functional highway and secondary road network connecting the entire country. It is very easy to travel by land from one coast to the other within hours. In the morning you can have breakfast on the Caribbean side and have dinner on the Pacific side.
Costa Rica is a small mountainous country located on the lower part of the narrow Central America. TAXES - TIPS
Restaurants automatically add a 13% tax and 10% tip to the bill, which is legally correct.
Better hotels add a 16.39% tax to room prices. Tipping above the included amount is not necessary.
Airport tax $28, only cash. They do not take credit card or traveler check.
Citizens of all nations are required to have at least a passport to enter Costa Rica. Passports should be valid for at least six months beyond the dates of your trip.
Better hotels, restaurants, car rental, travel agencies use most of the credit cards.
Master Card and Visa are both widely accepted.
